Davi Monteiro is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science from Lero - Irish Software Research Centre at the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. He is B.Sc. in Information Systems from University Center Estácio of Ceará, including a period as an exchange student in Computer Science at Concordia University Wisconsin, the USA, and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the State University of Ceará (UECE). He also holds an MBA in Project Management from University Center Estácio of Ceará. He was a member of the Cloud Detours (Non-Intrusive Code Transformations to Support Automatic Software Adaptation to the Cloud) research project, winner of the Microsoft Research Software Engineering Innovation Foundation (2013) from the University of Fortaleza (Unifor). Received the award for the best paper in the 8th. Brazilian Symposium on Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing (SBCUP 2016), Brazilian Society of Computing (SBC). Member of the Distributed Software Engineering Group (GESAD) and the Security, Privacy, Adaptation and Requirements Engineering Group at Lero (SPARE). His research interests are in software engineering for distributed systems and self-adaptive systems; security, privacy, and digital forensics in software architecture, with emphasis on the following topics: service-oriented and microservices architectures, model-driven engineering, aspect-oriented development, and cloud computing.
